Black Eyed Peas member Apl.de.Ap paraded his custom-built jeepney in New York on Sunday, June 5, as part of the Philippine Independence Day parade.
But Independence day is on June 12, you ask? This is because the Philippine Independence Day in the United States is celebrated on the first Sunday of June, days before June 12.
The Filipino-American rapper posted on his Facebook and Instagram accounts pictures of his blue-and-yellow "It's More Fun in the Philippines" jeepney, which runs on V8 engine and is built by Boden Autohaus.
Apl.de.Ap, whose full name is Allan Pineda Lindo, was one of the performers in the Philippne Independence Day parade, an annual event at Madison Avenue.
