The long wait it over. Business has finally
landed on Instagram, It was announced by Instagram on their official blog that
profiles that have been recognized as belonging to business will receive tools
to help measure engagement with customers and decide how the business account
should communicate with customers. It was also written on the blog post that
the project was confirmed after hundreds of interviews with businesses, helping
them to stand out, get insights and find new customers, all within the app.
The post also discussed some benefits
of a business profile like giving the customer an option to call, text, or
email the business with the help of ‘contact’ button. In addition, the contact
button also help provide directions for customers who are looking to step into
the shop.
According to TechCrunch’s report, this
development may also provide business profiles to turn their Instagram posts
into ads. And due to Instagram’s ties with Facebook, business owners can define
and save custom audiences.
These business profiles will be
launched first in the US, Australia and New Zealand in the counting months and
will be globally available in all regions by the end of the year.
