Draymond Green could face suspension, doubtful for Game 4 vs. Thunder

The NBA defending champions Golden State Warriors certainly have their hands full in the Western Conference Finals.

After a resounding 28-point beatdown at the hands of Oklahoma City Thunder, the Dubs are facing another roadblock as Warriors forward Draymond Green is in hot water following a physical play.

In the second quarter of Game three, Green kicked Steven Adams below the belt and was penalized with a flagrant foul 1 for his actions.

Upon looking at the footage, it appeared that Green intentionally hit Adams.

The league reviewed the situation and they contemplate meting Green a one-game suspension.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr doesn't agree though, believing that the hit was inadvertent.

This doesn't sound good for the Warriors, who are now trailing in the series 2-1. Green has been an effective player in Steve Kerr's rotation and his one-game removal could whittle down their chances of evening the series.

This is not the first time Green hit Adams. In the second quarter of Game two, Green went for a strong drive to the hole. It ended with his elbow hitting Adams below.

Game four is on Tuesday (Wednesday, Manila time) at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
