The saga of celebrities Baron Geisler and Kiko Matos continues.
After figuring in into a physical altercation at a bar, it appears that Geisler and Matos will finally have the opportunity to settle their unfinished business.
Amid their heated verbal exchange at social media, mixed martial arts promotion Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) invited the two to square off to see who is the better man.
The fight will happen at the Palace Pool Club on June 25.
URCC founder Alvin Aguilar says that this is a chance for them to make something good out of their altercation.
“If this does push through, we will charge tickets and all the tickets go to charity. Fighting in the streets or in bars is just no good. I’m no stranger to that. That’s something that shouldn’t be done anymore. That’s a thing in the past,” said Aguilar.
Aguilar also mentions that one of the reason why he put up URCC is to give the people the proper venue to showcase their skills.
“If you guys are going to fight in the bar, you guys are both actors, famous personalities now, that doesn’t set a good example for anybody. Why don’t you settle your fight like real Filipino men? You go in the cage, you finish it, after that kamayan, then tapos na. Kaysa magha-hassle pa kayo ng ibang tao when you go in a bar, you break property, you hurt other people, magkakademandahan pa kayo,” he said.
Aguilar acknowledged the lack of proper training of these two, hence, they will be fighting in the pro-am division of the URCC.
The fight is a part of the URCC Fight Night card that also features URCC Light Heavyweight Champion Chris Hoffman of DEFTAC/B.A.M.F MMA Center versus Arvin Chan of Team Vallega Camp/Elorde Dahlia in the main event.
