Slicked back hair, long-sleeved polo, leather shoes, and a briefcase, these are the things that Bernie Mirafuentes wears everyday when he’s going to work! If you think that he’s a lawyer, well, you’re wrong, his job is to sell peanuts.
Instead of legal documents, his briefcase contains peanuts, lots of peanuts – from the usual salted mani and Adobong Mani, he also sold mani with ketchup and mani with chilli flakes.
Bernie started to caught everyone’s attention and a netizen posted his photos on Facebook.
Since he was 14 years old, Bernie already started to sell peanuts to provide for his family’s daily needs. Sometimes, he’s selling peanuts at a beach resort in Iligan or at Santa Filomena National High School.
But despite having this kind of work, he was able to send his two children off to college and pay for their school fees.
