A motorist who was driving along McArthur Highway toward Monumento in Caloocan City was halted by a man who was about to fake an accident to cause her some trouble.
When the Kristine Claire Dela Cruz, the driver of the car, see the man about to cross the street, she stopped to give him way but in her surprise, the man did a stunt she never expected.
"When he was directly in front of our car, he dropped some reddish thing (piece of cardboard?) onto the road, walked toward us and gave the car hood several "hugs", taking great care in smearing red stuff all over," she said.
She also noted that the weird guy has already put some red paint in her car.
After finishing his dirty job, he then called people's attention, pretending that he was injured by her car.
"He then tried calling the attention of other people to his "injured" self, and imploring that i must not "escape," she added.
It's just good that people around noticed that she is at a safe distance when she stopped her car.
"I could still see the man's feet when he was "crossing" the street. The thing he dropped on the road was proof for me," she further said.
In 5 minutes, the traffic was normalized with the help of the barangay official and some concerned citizen who assisted them.
"Thankfully, no person was really physically harmed in this episode and the red stuff could be removed with water and some scrubbing," she ended her post.
